We focus on individuals, not systems. No two golfers are exactly the same; therefore, one method of golf instruction may not work equally well for all player types. This is why, at the California Golf Schools, instruction is tailored to your unique physical attributes and abilities. You'll learn to build on your strengths while addressing the areas that require the most work. Straightforwardly, we will assist you in grasping the fundamental principles of the golf swing along with the components specific to your body type.

By utilizing high-speed video technology, we will guide you to create a more consistent golf swing that adapts to every club in your bag. You will learn self-assessment techniques and the right practice routines. We will help you understand how to learn and apply repeatable simple motor skills in your golf swing. By participating in one of the California Golf Schools, you can gain a solid understanding of the correct golf swing principles and ultimately sustain these concepts throughout your golfing life.

Daily On-Course Instructions

The California Golf Schools believes it is crucial to learn the game where it is played, on the golf course. We cover all aspects of the game, not just the golf swing. This is the reason all of our golf school instructors are former or current tour players. They truly grasp the fundamentals and management techniques necessary to enhance your golf game, helping you achieve lower scores.

Every afternoon involves on-course golf instruction focusing on solid fundamentals. You’ll gain insights from experiences that cannot be replicated on the range or in a classroom.

Since more than 50% of the game occurs within 100 yards, we dedicate half of the on-course time to enhancing your short game skills, including putting, chipping, pitching, and bunker play. This is complemented by our award-winning “Scoring Zone” program.

You will also learn the essentials of effective course management. Let's be honest, even the most skilled players do not hit the ball perfectly all the time. Strong course management skills and a consistent short game will allow you to score better, even when your overall game isn’t at its peak.
